To be honest, I don’t remember if I told you about Hugo Vapor company, but they have several boxmods from HUGO series, one of them is 200W, the second one is 58W (there is also its improved version at 80W), our guest today is located right between them. The novelty is called HUGO133.

In general, I really like the look of the boxmod, except for its shape. I realize that this shape is almost perfect and it will be VERY comfortable to hold the boxmod in your hand, but something still disgusts me. Most of all it reminds me of Hugo from the TV series Lost. The rubberized surface on the sides and on the back panel will not let the boxmod fall out of your hands. e-cigarettes in canada The layout of the controls is quite familiar, and the +/- and micro usb buttons look like a muzzle, similar to the RX200. The boxmod has the following dimensions: 88x43x41 mm. There are three color options: black, white and something resembling brass.

Let’s finish with the design and move on to the technical component. Hugo Vapor boxmods are characterized by their honest and well working boards. I think that the novelty will not be an exception. The board has the following technical characteristics:
Maximum power of the boxmod 133 W, voltage range 0.5-8.4 V.
Minimum resistance 0.06 ohm, for thermocontrol mode 0.02 ohm with a temperature limit of 100-300 C or 200-600 F.
Boxmod has the following modes of operation: VW/VV/Bypass/TC (Ni200/Ti/SS).
Personally for me the resistance threshold of 0.06 ohm looks very attractive, because I very rarely wind above 0.1 ohm, but how to wind 0.02 ohm for thermocontrol I have no idea, and I used it only once, but I think thermocontrol fans will appreciate it.

At first, because of the appearance of the boxmod, I thought that the boxmod runs on three 18650 batteries, but I was wrong. The power source is two 18650 batteries located under the cover, which is held on powerful magnets.

The connector is steel, with a spring-loaded center contact, the material of which is not known. The manufacturer has also provided slots for the lower, obsolete, blowing. But they are more suitable for heat dissipation, because at too low resistances everything gets very hot.

It’s time to summarize the results. In general, this is a very good boxmod, with an honest and unremarkable board. I also really liked the minimum resistance threshold of 0.06 ohm. The price of the boxmod is about 40-45 dollars. And that is not much in general. If you are satisfied with the appearance of the boxmod, most likely it will not disappoint you.
