I promised that I wouldn’t talk about new Eleaf devices in the near future, but I couldn’t help myself, as they have a new boxmod that will be perfect for beginners, which are the majority nowadays, considering that vaping is becoming exponentially popularized. It is called Pico Squeeze boxmod and it is a squonk boxmod. There are not as many squonk connoisseurs as there are squonk boxmods themselves, so it’s safe to say that there is virtually no competition. But Eleaf wants to be a butt plug here too, because their Pico Squeeze is a direct competitor of the first version of DRIPBOX from Kangertech.
Eleaf Pico Squeeze
The design of the boxmod is taken directly from their previous Pico boxmod, but there are still some changes. First of all, there is a big hole through which you press the bottle with liquid. The second usb port is located right under the connector, which does not bode well. There are a lot of colors and everyone will find something for himself.
Seeing the word Pico in the name, I thought that the board would be the same as in the original box mod, but Eleaf decided not to bother and shoved a simplified board there without the possibility of adjustment and working in Bypass mode. The stated maximum power of the board is 50 W; the minimum supported resistance is 0.15 ohm. It is also equipped with all basic levels of protection. It turns out that the performance characteristics of the box mod are exactly the same as those of the Dripbox, I would even say that these are the same device, only in different cases, but the Pico Squeeze has the undeniable advantage of the Dripbox.
The box mod comes with a Coral drip head for two stands with side airflow. In itself, it is quite simple, but in the drip device that came with the Dripbox, the airflow was located in such a way that it was much higher than the spirals. The Eleaf dripper does not have this problem, which is perhaps the only difference between the products of both companies and a plus in favor of Pico Squeeze. And I personally like the base itself more than Velocity, but the bike is much better and more convenient for beginners, this is an indisputable fact. Airflow is regulated by turning the Delrin cup cap.

The box mod runs on a single 18650 battery, which is installed in exactly the same way as the original Pico, so the overall compactness of the box mod remains unchanged. You can also charge batteries via micro-usb, but it is located in such a way that filling it with liquid will not be difficult for you.
The volume of the bottle with liquid is 6.5 ml, which is generally more than acceptable. Even if you use the box mod constantly at its maximum power, I don’t think you would refill the tank more than 1-2 times a day. Refilling occurs in exactly the same way as with Dripbox and does not cause much inconvenience, at least for me personally. But for the first couple of gas stations, I would advise you to stock up on napkins.
It’s time to sum it up. How are the devices different? Almost nothing! The only significant difference” is the atomizer that the box mod comes with. And as for me, the eleaf has a better atomizer. The second difference is the appearance, and personally I like the Pico Squeeze a little more, but it’s up to you to decide. The price for both devices is 27 bucks, which is a little strange, because usually eleaf always find loopholes to make their devices a couple of bucks cheaper than their competitors. In short, the Pico Squeeze is a more than capable device and is perfect for those who would like to experience the experience of using a squonk.
